When the Clock Starts Ticking: Navigating Policy Limit Demands and the Insurance Tower
Webinar Description:
Whether you're running 5 trucks or 5,000, facing a policy limit demand can turn an ordinary claim into a high-stakes challenge. For smaller carriers—where safety or HR professionals often act as liaisons to insurers and TPAs—the nuances of coverage, exposure, and defense strategy may be unfamiliar. For larger carriers, the challenge often lies in managing high-dollar claims involving multiple insurers and navigating the friction that can arise across the excess coverage tower.
This session will offer practical guidance for both ends of the spectrum. We’ll explore:
- How to recognize and avoid common traps in policy limit demands
- The importance of understanding your insurance structure
- How to engage meaningfully with defense counsel and claims professionals—whether you’re working directly with your insurer or coordinating across multiple layers of coverage.
You’ll walk away with actionable tips for strengthening your role in the claim process, improving communication, and positioning your company to respond confidently under pressure.
A recording will be provided to all approved registrants post webinar even if you are not able to attend.
