While insurance fraud can take many forms, staged accidents have become a popular criminal activity. If you’ve ever been in an accident, you know it can be chaotic as you put the pieces together with appropriate parties to determine fault. Jim Angel has over 20 years of experience in transportation. From driver to dispatcher to fleet owner, Jim has held a variety of hands-on positions that have helped him truly understand the trucking business from the inside out. Jim also has experience as Director of Safety & Compliance and stays involved with several trucking and safety associations. Now as VP of Video Telematics, Jim continues to help fleets leverage technology to ultimately increase safety and productivity.
Captain Bryant Gay, Florida Highway Patrol, Commercial Vehicle Enforcement
Captain Gay has been serving on the Florida Highway Patrol’s Bureau of Commercial Vehicle Enforcement for over 30 years. He is an FMCSA and National Training Center certified master instructor, Florida’s statewide training coordinator, and has extensive experience with training on safety and compliance. He works with both federal and local governments to develop training curriculum and advise on safety and commercial vehicle related issues.
