Owner-Operator State of the Union
Webinar Description:
2021 was arguably the best year in history for owner-operators. Along with it, high freight volumes and soaring rates saw record numbers of owner-operators move to the spot market for their loads. Coming off the jubilance of 2021, owner-operators walked unexpectedly into a challenging 2022 that has seen greatly diminished spot market freight, falling freight rates, high equipment costs, extremely high fuel prices and a looming recession. Facing these headwinds, how did owner-operators fare during the first half of 2022?
Founded in 1998, ATBS has been tracking and analyzing independent contractor financial trends in the trucking industry since 2003. In this webinar, ATBS will provide a recap of their 2022 Q2 Independent Contractor Benchmarking Study.
What motor carriers will take away from this webinar:
ATBS will look at the different industry segments and show how owner-operators and carriers stacked up in areas such as productivity, revenue, truck cost, fuel, maintenance, insurance, net income, and much more. ATBS will also discuss best practices that are making 2022 another great year for many owner-operators.
