Austin, Texas – Today, the American Trucking Associations opened the trucking industry’s premiere event, the 2023 ATA Management Conference & Exhibition.
“MCE is a chance for trucking leaders to establish the strategy and policy that sets the course for the industry for the years and decades to come,” said ATA President and CEO Chris Spear. “As our industry faces assaults from radical environmentalists, the plaintiffs' bar, organized labor and anti-truck advocacy groups, it has never been more important to come together and be united as we move forward. Over the next few days, we will outline our vision for the future of our industry and economy.”
This year’s event, themed “The Rhythm of Change: Navigating the Future of Trucking,” takes place at the Austin Convention Center.
With sessions on the top industry issues, the economy, trucking around the world and Spear’s annual state of the industry address, in addition to the 250,000-square-foot MCE Exhibit Hall featuring the newest and most dynamic technologies and services for the trucking industry, the meeting is the preeminent trucking industry event of the year.
MCE concludes with the ATA Annual Banquet and Concert featuring GRAMMY, CMA and ACM award winner Ashley McBryde.
“MCE stands as an unrivaled opportunity for every professional engaged in the industry to help create trucking’s roadmap,” said ATA Chairman Dan Van Alstine, president and COO of Ruan Transportation Management Systems. “The next few days are going to provide real depth and breadth of insights about where we are headed as an industry.”
