Arlington, Virginia -- The American Trucking Associations today announced several promotions and a planned structural realignment that will position the organization to serve its members even more effectively with best-in-class services, programs and opportunities for members.
Elisabeth Barna has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Industry Affairs and Senior Advisor to the President & CEO. In her new role, she will help guide the association to forge new strategic partnerships, expand existing relationships and maintain ATA’s status as the country’s premier trucking association. She will continue to evolve ATA’s programmatic footprint, further growing our chief image programs and developing new programs that benefit our membership, the industry and the public.
Sarah Rajtik has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Human Resources. In this new position, she will continue to shape ATA’s internal organization and will take on the majority of Chief Operating Officer responsibilities once held by Elisabeth.
Danny Neal is being promoted to Vice President of Sales and Marketing and will oversee all allied sales and non-dues revenue, including sponsorships, exhibit sales and the ATA Featured Product program.
Dave Brodie, SVP of Membership, has announced his retirement for March 2019. Eric Parker has been promoted to Acting Vice President of Membership, and the two will work closely together to create a seamless transition.
In the coming months, the ATA will centralize membership, sponsorships, exhibits and sales under a Chief Commercial Officer. This realignment should better enable more narrow specialization among ATA’s leaders, departments and staff, demonstrating the association’s commitment to providing significant value to its wide-ranging, growing membership base and the overall Federation.
“ATA has experienced tremendous success over the past two years and these changes will allow us to continue to lead the charge as the trucking industry moves into the future,” said Chris Spear, ATA President and CEO.
