ATA Q3 Advocacy Update

Webinar Description:

There is no shortage of issues in the nation’s capital directly impacting motor carriers’ operations and bottom lines.  Every day, ATA is at the center of these policy debates, advocating on behalf of our members.

On Capitol Hill, ATA continues to lead the charge on legislation to crack down on cargo theft, drive forward a pro-trucking highway bill, and build momentum behind meaningful tort reform.  Additionally, at the agencies, ATA is working to inject common sense into active rulemakings pertaining to independent contractors, low NOx, and DEF.

Join ATA Chief Advocacy and Public Affairs Officer Henry Hanscom and members of the regulatory and legislative affairs teams as they provide an overview of recent developments at EPA, DOL, and DOT and preview the opportunities and challenges ahead as Congress races against the election clock.  In the webinar, they will break down key proposals and offer insights on how they may affect your business.

A live question-and-answer session will follow.
