Washington – Today, American Trucking Associations’ Women In Motion Council announced it is partnering with ATA’s Safety Management Council at SMC’s annual conference in April.
“This partnership with the Safety Management Council is an exciting opportunity,” said ATA COO Sarah Rajtik, co-chair of WIM. “With so many of WIM’s members working in critical areas like safety, security, and human resources, this collaboration aligns perfectly with our mission. We’re eager to foster connections, celebrate our members’ successes, and contribute to the important work being done by SMC. We’re especially looking forward to hosting the WIM reception and participating in a general session on the agenda. We can’t wait to see everyone in Kentucky this spring.”
The partnership will allow WIM and SMC to advance the missions of their respective councils to support professionals across the transportation industry. This collaboration will provide attendees of SMC’s 2025 Safety, Security & Human Resources National Conference & Exhibition with enhanced networking opportunities, along with valuable content in the conference agenda and new events, all showcasing the achievements of its members who are making significant contributions in every area of the industry.
“This partnership highlights WIM’s dedication to advancing opportunities and promoting the important work being done across the industry. By bringing together diverse perspectives, WIM and SMC are creating a conference that inspires collaboration, recognizes achievements, and addresses key challenges facing transportation today,” Rajtik said.
