ATA Preparing for Blockbuster MCE in Nashville

Aug 14, 2024

Washington – The American Trucking Associations has unveiled the schedule for the year’s premiere industry event – the ATA Management Conference & Exhibition – slated for this October in Nashville, Tennessee.

“Held during the final weeks of a turbulent election season in the midst of an uneven economy, MCE is our moment to bring the opportunities and challenges facing our industry into sharper focus,” said ATA President and CEO Chris Spear. “Regardless of whom the American people choose to elect in November, one thing remains certain: our industry will soon face a new Administration and Congress, with enormous implications for our strategic priorities and tier-one issues.  I look forward to seeing everyone in Nashville, where we will plot a course for victory.”

This year’s event features several important sessions including:

  • Spear’s annual State of the Industry Address;
  • ATA Chief Economist Bob Costello’s economic update;
  • The American Transportation Research Institute’s Big Reveal of the top issues facing trucking;
  • A keynote address from former presidential advisor and political pundit Karl Rove;
  • A general session on cybersecurity, as well as numerous educational sessions touching a wide variety of issues impacting trucking;
  • The MCE Exhibit Hall featuring hundreds of manufacturers and service providers that make up the allied community;
  • A closing Red, White & Blue Bash celebrating trucking with the renowned The Downtown Band.

“MCE is ATA’s foremost event for policy and strategy, leveraging the immense talent and expertise within our ranks to address the array of challenges facing trucking and the U.S. economy. As a fleet executive with a vested interest in our industry’s success, I consider MCE a must-attend event for me and my team,” said ATA Chairman Andrew Boyle, co-president of Boyle Transportation. “If you care about your company and the trucking industry at large, then you should be with us in Nashville this October.”
