Nashville, Tennessee – Today, the American Trucking Associations opened trucking’s premiere industry event, the 2024 ATA Management Conference & Exhibition.
“The timing of this year’s MCE could not be more fitting,” said ATA President and CEO Chris Spear. “Just weeks before an election that will decide on a new administration, a new Congress and a new direction for our country, it has never been more important for us to come together to set our strategic priorities and lay out our roadmap to achieving them.”
This year’s event, themed “Driving Force of the Nation,” opens today at Nashville’s Music City Center.
With sessions covering the economy, technology, safety, labor and other key industry issues, as well as Spear’s annual state of the industry address, MCE attendees will spend the next few days discussing the future of trucking.
“The freedoms we have in this country to get involved in government and advocate on behalf of our industry are a privilege that so many around the world can only dream of,” said ATA Chairman Andrew Boyle, co-president of Boyle Transportation. “As we convene at MCE to invest in and plan for trucking’s future, we can also take stock of the good fortune and opportunities that come with being Americans and members of this vibrant association.”
