SMC Webinar- Is Tech Causing More Risk than Safety?

Please register for this recorded SMC Webinar.

Webinar Description:

Our drivers face a wide variety of technologies daily and how they utilize each can significantly impact the profitability and safety of a fleet.

Cameras provide retrospective (reactive) context. However, benchmarking against data from thousands of fleets using a wide variety of technologies gives a more contextually relevant and predictive view of which drivers manage their choices well and what technology might be a distraction. Our panel of experts from insurance carriers, trucking companies, and technology providers will inform us on what the data suggests and how we can leverage technology to mitigate risk with a focus on driver retention.

Learning objectives and key takeaways:
  • How to match drivers to the right road and load
  • The key indicators of changes in a driver’s risk profile
  • How to decide where to spend your next safety dollar
  • Benchmarking the changes in your risk profile
  • No cost tools available to you as a Safety Director and Manager
  • A perspective of the industry’s new normal using 2020 contextual driving data
